Demonstration of Resonant Pile Driver RD 260 in Abbotsford, BC, Canada - This video shows the RD 260 driving a 13 meter HP 310 x 79 pile into compact silts and fine sands with zero ground vibration. (Video length 2 minutes, 7 seconds.)
Presentation at conference in Stockholm by Matthew Janes, CEO, RTI - In this 10 minute presentation Matthew explains how RTI's "resonant" pile driver works and shows video of it operating on real production sites. These videos demonstrate that piles can be driven with virtually zero ground disturbance using this technology. (The resonant pile driver is similar to a sonic pile driver in the way that it drives piles, but the patented technology is very different.)
Demonstration - Driving sheet pile with resonant (sonic) driver, 2014 - RTI's RD 200 Resonant Pile Driver drives a 14.6 m AZ13 sheet pile 13.2 m into sandy silt soils in 8 minutes and 15 seconds without noticeable ground vibration - note the wine glass on the ground near the pile; there is hardly a ripple on the surface of the water.
